Just Groom a Bichon Grooming Contest

WHEN: Tuesday May 12, 2026, during BFCA’s 50th National Specialty Week

WHERE: Hilton St Louis Airport, 10330 Natural Bridge Rd, St Louis, MO 63134

Enter the grooming competition and help the BFCA raise funds for the Bichon Frise Club of America Charitable Trust and the BFCA Health Committee. Entry fee is $50.00 and will be donated in its entirety to the Rescue and Health committees of the Bichon Frise Club of America.

Entries close: May 5, 2026 (entries will be accepted at the door for an additional $10.00 fee) You may enter online below, or print this form to pay by check.

How It Works

• There will be one class for a bichon show trim.
• Divided into two Divisions: Amateur & Professional
• Amateurs (Owner-Handlers, Assistants, & Novice Groomers)
• Professionals (Professional Handlers & Professional Grooming Competitors)

• Show Floor opens at 9:00AM for set up & check in
• Grooming Competition Hours: 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM
• Awards Presentation at 12:30 PM
• Critiques & Feedback to follow awards

• Groom any Bichon in a show trim. Puppies are always welcome.
• You will have 2 hours to groom your dog.
• Bring dogs bathed and prepped to the ring. Bring your own table.
• Competitors will be judged by nationally renowned award winning judges: Dennis Brown and Irina Pinkusevich
