These three articles were written by Bichon breeder and breed authority, Anne Jones, RN, BSNE. An organizer and one of the original members of the Bichon Frise Club of America’s Health Committee, Anne was intensely interested in the health of the Bichon Frise and the future health of the Bichon Frise. Anne never tired of talking with and mentoring those interested in the breed. In the ‘Geriatric Dog’, Anne writes as if she is sitting next to you. Please, enjoy her knowledge and wisdom.

In reviewing these articles that were written several years earlier, I find the information Anne gives you is still valid and wise except for one her advice to neuter a Bichon Frise (one that will not be bred) as early as possible.
